E-mentors:
London-based educational advice service seeks well-rounded Oxbridge-educated
graduates in all subjects to join our tutor/mentor network providing
tutoring, mentoring and advice services relating to our Oxbridge
Mentoring Scheme. You will operate as itinerant tutors working with
school students or private clients. Tutoring will focus specifically
on helping OMS students prepare themselves for the Oxbridge admissions
process by setting focussed reading and practise questions from
entrance test past papers. Knowledge of HAT, BMAT, LNAT, TSA and
STEPS is helpful. You will also critically review student personal
statements sent to you by email and undertake academic Oxbridge-style
mock interviews at a venue in central London (full guidance and
briefing to be provided). Alongside a genuine interest in helping
students achieve their goals, you will have excellent organisation
and interpersonal skills. Teaching/tutoring experience essential
for some OMS elements but not others. (Tutors are not required to
take on all OMS elements but can specify which they wish to take
involvement on the application form). Since only part-time involvement

in post-graduate education or established as tutors already. Ownership
